The virtual world is erasing distances. It is creating innovative platforms for interaction, information dispensation and dialogue. Using this space, and the medium of films, we have attempted to start dialogue and reconciliation process between two sides of the divided Jammu and Kashmir in South Asia. The Kashmir region, which is a disputed territory between India and Pakistan, remains one of the main flashpoints in South Asia, with both regional and geo-political implications. These films initiated dialogue between both sides through visual medium and aimed to challenge the deep-set prejudices in conflict. The project was supported by UK based NGO Conciliation Resources.
